Description
Platinum-carbon catalyst is currently one of the key materials of the proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC). Commercial fuel cell platinum-carbon catalysts are generally platinum particles with a particle size of 2-5 nm distributed on a carbon support with excellent electrical conductivity, high specific surface area, moderate porosity and resistance to electrochemical corrosion. According to needs, the platinum loading varies from 20% to 70%; the anode catalyst loading is relatively low, and the cathode oxygen reduction catalyst generally has a loading greater than 50%. Our platinum-carbon catalyst has a high yield, good consistency, and can be customized.
Platinum on carbon is used for catalytic hydrogenations in organic synthesis. Examples include carbonyl reduction, nitro compound reduction, secondary amine production via nitrile reduction, and the production of saturated heterocycles from their respective aromatic compound precursors.
Market conditions
More than 95% of the catalysts used in domestic hydrogen fuel cells rely on imports, and the supply schedule is 6-8 months; there are only a handful of domestic catalyst manufacturers, most of them are in the test stage, performance indicators need to be improved, stability needs to be verified, and commercial mass production It is even rarer. Our products break the import monopoly and have a short supply cycle. The company has approved 5 invention authorizations, 1 invention publication, and 5 utility model patents. More than 40 patents are planned in the near future.
